LowPro LockDown generator security system for Honda EU3000iS
Product DescriptionOur LowPro LockDown security mount system can be used for both mounting and securing a Honda EU3000iS generator to any secure flat structure.
While any lock system can eventually be defeated by a determined thief, this system provides a sensible level of deterrence at a reasonable cost.
Consists of two interlocking plates. The fixed part is a Black 12ga base plate that you bolt onto your pickup bed or current mount position on your trailer, using the supplied stainless steel hardware. The button-heads of bolts cannot be accessed as they will be covered by the feet of the generator, and trying to turn the nyloc nuts will just spin the bolts. So the base plate is secure.
Part 2 is a Red 10ga top plate that you bolt onto your generator between the feet and its base using the supplied bolts. Your generator remains portable when not locked into the base as the plate only adds 6 pounds to the weight.
When you place the generator over the bottom plate, a tamper-proof hasp will protrude up through the top plate to allow the (supplied) shrouded circular 'Master' padlock to secure the 2 plates together. The other side of the plates are hooked into each other to prevent the generator from being pried up.
Base plate measures approx 15.75 x 26.5 inches. Shipping box measures 29 x 17 x 3 and weighs 34 pounds FedEx Ground Shipping (lower 48): $24.95 USPS International to Canada: $132.45 (email us first) Canadian or UK Customers: Please read the FAQs page for ordering info.
